Az 1924-ben megalakult Ifj\u00fas\u00e1gi Sportk\u00f6r a szegedi a K.i.s.o.k. szegedi ker\u00fclet\u00e9hez tartozott, igazolv\u00e1nyi sz\u00e1ma 164, vezet\u0151je \u00c1rvay Ferenc testnevel\u0151 tan\u00e1r volt. A sportk\u00f6r kezdetben torna, v\u00edv\u00f3, korcsoly\u00e1z\u00f3, c\u00e9ll\u00f6v\u0151, evez\u0151 \u00e9s talajtorna szakoszt\u00e1lyokra oszlott, k\u00e9s\u0151bb azonban kieg\u00e9sz\u00fclt m\u00e1s szakoszt\u00e1lyokkal is (\u00fasz\u00e1s, labdar\u00fag\u00e1s, tenisz, k\u00e9zilabda, pingpong). A sportk\u00f6r a szegedi ker\u00fclet minden verseny\u00e9n jelent\u0151s eredm\u00e9nnyel vett r\u00e9szt. A k\u00f6r legjelent\u0151sebb vagyont\u00e1rgya a cs\u00f3nakh\u00e1z volt, melyet egy 1919-ben Csongr\u00e1d alatt, magas v\u00edz idej\u00e9n els\u00fcllyedt g\u0151zhaj\u00f3 fed\u00e9lzet\u00e9b\u0151l alak\u00edtottak ki. A t\u00e9li h\u00f3napokban a gyakorl\u00e1s 8 \u00f3r\u00e1t\u00f3l f\u00e9l 9-ig tartott, m\u00edg a tan\u00e9v tov\u00e1bbi id\u0151szak\u00e1ban f\u00e9l 8-t\u00f3l 8 \u00f3r\u00e1ig. A helysz\u00ednek v\u00e1ltozatosak voltak, hiszen a testmozg\u00e1st v\u00e9gezt\u00e9k a g\u00e1ton, a sportp\u00e1ly\u00e1n, a tornateremben, de a foly\u00f3son is.
